I'm a poet, don't you know it

It's been a while since I've written anything here and a lot of things have happend. A lot of good things. Most of them today, of most things are good ones. And that's all I'm going to concentrate on now, because that are the most important things. The bad things are all things that can be fixed and seem unimportant right now.

Good news item #1
I got a letter from my new school inviting me for the intake meeting for the 20th of februari. I already paid the entrance fee and everything and so this means that I have a study to start once I get back from America.

Good news item #2
I'm being published. Can you believe it. I participated in an anual poetry contest on poetry.com with the poem 'In mornings dew' which can also be found on this blog and via that I'm going to be published in the book Immortal Verses (or that's the name so far). It's being printed Spring 2007.

Good news item #3
Has everything to do with good news item #2. Not only is that poem being published. It's also gotten me into the semi-finals and that means I have a good change of winning one of the 104 cash-prices up to 10.000 dollars.

Good news item #4
Also has to do with #2 and #3. I was also nominated to be published in another book called The international who's who in poetry. I submitted a different poem for this called 'birth'.

Good news item #5
I got a bigger chance at getting my money back from my dumb-ass drivers-ed. teacher. This guy owes me about 700 euro's and so far has not paid me back. Now me and my dad have send him a letter telling him he has 7 days to pay or else we'll get a lawyer involved. We know for a fact he read the letter because he had to sign for it and we got the confirmation. So if he's somewhat smart he'll know that a meeting with the lawyer won't be in his best interest and he'll just pay. Let's hope.

Only 28 more days at my job and then just 38 more days before I get on the plane to the states!!!!
